Nonô’s Organic Garden

Ponta dos Ganchos’ organic kitchen garden was first planted towards the end of 2008, with a mission not only to meet the hotel’s demand for ingredients, but also, and primarily, to serve as the foundation for a sustainable approach to food. The garden enables the Resort to manage the great majority of its organic waste as part of an efficient cycle of reutilization and conscious consumption. The garden is seasonal and at different times of year it provides us with different produce. Some examples are: all types of lettuce, rocket, watercress, spinach, collard greens, edible shoots, edible flowers (seasonal), lemon grass, and ginger.
