Sanitization and Safety


The health of our employees and guests is our priority. Therefore, some essential actions have been taken to provide a safer environment.


  • Hotel Private Transfer
    The vehicles used for the transfer to and from the hotel – when hired – will be carefully cleaned before and after each trip. Drivers will wear masks throughout the greeting service and travel to the property. The transfer will be private for a maximum of 2 people. The use of the passenger front seat is not allowed.

  • Arriving at the property
    Upon arrival, guests will have their body temperature checked. Anyone with a temperature higher than 37,8C/100,04F will be sent straight away to see a doctor in order to receive the proper medical checkup. A kit with individual hand sanitizer gel and disposable mask will be provided for all guests that needs it. The porter will use disposable gloves to deliver the luggage to the bungalow. Guests will be offered the option to have the luggage sanitized as well. Cars or vehicles used for the internal transportation of guests will be cleaned after each use. Self-Park is now available to remove valet attendant contact. Masks are required in all public areas of the property.

  • Public and Operational Spaces
    Our teams have implemented new precautionary and sanitization standards across the property. We’ve increased the frequency of property-wide cleaning and disinfecting — with extra focus paid to high-touch surfaces and public spaces like door handles, keys and locks, handrails, furniture and upholstery, gym equipment, among others. The same goes for the cleaning of operational areas, with additional care for employees’ cafeteria, uniform room, bathrooms and changing rooms, laundry, offices and kitchen. Hand sanitizer gels dispensers are available in many areas of the hotel, such as restaurant entrances, reception, swimming pool, beach and gym. They will also be available in the bungalows and throughout the operational areas. Our employees will practice social distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible. We ask that guests practice social distance from other guests that are not in their party. Please pay special attention while waiting for a service and/or moving around the property. The layout in our restaurants and public spaces have been arranged to ensure appropriate distancing.

  • Bungalows
    The hotel uses certified cleaning and disinfecting products to eliminate viruses, bacteria and other pathological agents. We are working with our suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of these products, as well as protective equipment. The Bungalows are cleaned, and disinfected following hospitality industry defined protocols. Special attention paid to high-touch surfaces, including remote controls, telephones, door handles, furniture handles, light switches, luggage racks, swimming pools, air conditioning, toilet seats, pool and floor.

  • Laundry service
    All bungalow linens and towels will be washed in the in-house laundry facility using the appropriate products, within the safest hygiene standards. All personal items of clothing will be washed in the in-house laundry following the same caution. Items will be returned in a sealed plastic bag to the guest bungalow.

  • Equipment and Tools
    Shared equipment and tools used by staff will be cleaned before, during and after each shift or whenever the equipment is transferred to another employee, including radios, headphones, computers, credit card machines, kitchen utensils, maintenance and cleaning tools, as well as others used throughout the hotel.

  • Signage
    Signage posts have been placed in all areas of the hotel, with tips on health and hygiene procedures. In the operational areas, the signage will be more comprehensive with guidance on the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), hand hygiene and how to proceed in case of any suspected contamination case.

  • Air Conditioner
    Air conditioning units will be clean at shorter intervals. Whenever possible, natural ventilation will be encouraged between employees and guests.

  • Bars and Restaurants
    The bar and restaurant layouts have been rearranged in order to guarantee a minimum distance of 1.5 m/6ft between guests. The menus will be available in digital format for our guest’s convenience.
    Our restaurant teams are also implementing new precautionary measures in every aspect of food preparation, set-up, and service. This includes frequent disinfection of all kitchen surfaces as well as all colleagues wearing masks and gloves when preparing, plating, and serving dishes.


Suspected or confirmed covid-19 cases protocol

If a COVID-19 case is suspected, we will follow protocol to assist the guest, which includes informing the local health agencies. The bungalow will be temporarily out of order until deep cleaning and disinfecting has been completed.
