Ponta dos Ganchos Gather Great Chefs
From June 24th, the resort will receive the recognized chefs Emmanuel Bassoleil, Francesco Carli, Flávia Quaresma, Rodrigo Sieiro and Claude Troisgros.
From June 24th, Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort promotes the First Chefs Cycle, meeting that will gather every weekend a great chef de cousine. The idea of this exclusive meeting is to offer to only 19 couples per weekend (one of the bungalows is for the Chef!) the unique experience of live together with some of the biggest exponents of the South American gastronomy and savor exclusive dishes specially prepared for the occasion.
There will be five weekends with a chef cooking during Friday's and Saturday's dinner a menu of their choice, accompanied on Saturdays' night with Veuve Clicquot Champagne (Emmanuel Bassoleil and Claude Troisgros) and Terrazas Wines (Francesco Carli, Flávia Quaresma and Rodrigo Sieiro). On the remaining time, the chefs will be circulating and enjoying the Resort's facilities with other guests, who will be able to interact and live together with their favorite chefs, which is the biggest differential of the event.
Besides that, the participants will count with the Resort's chef, Luis Salvajoli, support and all the necessary infrastructure of Ponta dos Ganchos.
Emmanuel Bassoleil, French, born in Dijon, will give the start to the cycle on the June 24th to 26th weekend. The French culinary is the big specialty of Bassoleil, who is actually the Executive Chef of the Skye Restaurant, from Unique Hotel, in São Paulo.
On the following weekend, from July 1st to 3rd, the chef Francesco Carli, natural from Venice, Italy, will be at the guest disposal with his North Italian cook. Actually, Carli commands the Cipriani Restaurant, from Copacabana Palace Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.
The encharged on the July 15th to 17th weekend is the Chef Rodrigo Sieiro. Argentinean revelation, Sieiro is considered for the critic as one of the best South America's Chef, he have worked with Alain Ducasse and many other great Chef's in France and USA and will take to tables the delicatessen of the French and Argentinean culinary. Rodrigo is Chef Owner of Nectarine, located on the elite region of Pilar.
To finish the Chef's Cycle in great style, Claude Troisgros will be the responsible for the days of July 29th to 31st and will reveal the secrets of the French culinary that made him the Year's Chef in 2004 on Gula magazine, among many other conquests and prizes accumulated during his glorious career. Actually, Troisgros commands the gastronomy of the Olympe Restaurant in Rio de Janeiro, besides the recently inaugurated Caviar & Banana in New York, which is one of the most concurred in Manhattan.
